Where is the Lodge located?


The Lodge is located in picturesque Grand Lake, Colorado, near the entrance to the Rocky Mountain National Park, Trail Ridge Road. Upon rental of the Lodge, we will send detailed directions, as GPS navigation is not accurate.




What is included in the rental at Meadowview Mountain Lodge?


You are getting an exclusive venue, that is naturally stunning. You and your guests are the only group on the property during your stay. You are surrounded by Rocky Mountain National Park. You and your guests will create lasting memories. At night you can enjoy an evening under the beauty of the stars in the sky over beautiful Colorado. If you are looking for elements of nature and elegance, our 10,000 square foot Lodge will provide you with countless experiences.




What time is check-in and check-out?


Check-in 3:00 p.m.
Check-out 10:00 a.m.




Will my cell phone work at the property?


Yes, cell phones will work.




Is wireless Internet and a TV available?


Yes, the Lodge is equipped with free wireless Internet and TVs.




Are there any grocery stores in the area?


Yes, there are two small grocery stores in Grand Lake (2 ½ miles away).
City Market (with pharmacy) is located in nearby Granby (15 miles away).




Can I bring my pet with me?


No pets are allowed. Service animals are allowed under the ADA and Colorado law.
Emotional support animals are not allowed.
(Under the ADA and Colorado law, owners of public accommodations are not required to allow emotional support animals.)




Can I smoke inside the Lodge?


No smoking of any kind inside the Lodge.




Are there restaurants in Grand Lake?


Grand Lake area has many restaurants open all year.




Are there attractions nearby?


Grand Lake and nearby vicinities are full of outdoor attractions.
Hiking, boating, kayaking, rafting, golfing, miniature golfing, biking, go-cart riding, fly fishing, horseback riding, natural hot springs, wild life viewing, downhill and cross country skiing, snowmobiling, tubing, ice skating, snow shoeing, ice fishing, dog sledding.
Additionally, there are many activities and fun things to do in and around the Lodge. There is a large veranda where you can relax and enjoy each other’s company.




Is there a sound system?


Yes. Directions on how to use the Bose system are provided at time of check-in.




Are hair dryers included?


Yes.




Are linens and towels included?


Yes. We have 9 bedrooms that house 23 beds (which sleeps 32 people). We have 7 bathrooms.




Is the Lodge kitchen fully equipped?


Yes, we have two fully-equipped kitchens including silverware, dishes, pots and pans. Appliances: ovens, warming oven, coffee makers, blender, toasters, microwaves, KitchenAid stand mixer, dishwashers (detergent provided).




Is there a washer/dryer/iron?


Yes, detergent and dryer sheets are provided. An iron and ironing board are also provided.




Is there a property manager on site?


There is not a property manager on site, however, if needed one can be provided for a fee.





Weddings

Where on the property are weddings held?


There are two beautiful wedding sites on the property where you can exchange your vows and hold a reception. One wedding site is in the meadow by the pond (see pictures on the website gallery). It is very peaceful. You can exchange your vows enjoying the spectacular panoramic view of the meadow and mountains.

The other wedding location is on the bluff near the Lodge which overlooks the meadow and pond and has a beautiful view of the Never Summer Mountains. The location on the bluff is large enough to hold a 40x80’ tent or the bluff can be used for parking.




Are caterers/vendors provided?


We do not provide caterers or vendors. This benefit can be a cost savings to you. You can hire your own caterers, vendors, entertainment and planners. This allows you to truly customize your wedding. There are two fully stocked kitchens that your caterers/vendors can use.




Is alcohol allowed on the property?


Yes, but you need to provide your own.




Are there other guests (besides your party) at the Lodge?


One of the nicest features of holding a wedding at Meadowview is that you are the only group on the property for the duration of your stay.




Is there parking?


Yes, there is a large flat parking area.




Are portal restrooms provided the day of the wedding?


The bathrooms in the Lodge are reserved for registered guests only (this is in an effort to keep the Lodge clean and in working order for registered guests). All other guests at wedding will need to use outdoor portable restrooms that would be provided by you (you are responsible for renting portal restrooms).




Can I bring my pet with me?


No pets are allowed.
(If you want your pet in the wedding ceremony, that is allowed for outdoor weddings, but pets are not allowed in the Lodge. Please kennel your pet off premises.)
